Education institutes : Police beefs up security

The security of schools and colleges was also beefed up after the Army Public School attack in December 2014

ISLAMABAD: Security of all education institutes in the capital has been beefed up in the wake of the terrorists attack on the Bacha Khan University in Charsadda. Acting Inspector General Islamabad Khalid Khattak issued the orders on Wednesday. Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Sajid Kayani also visited different areas in the city. The IG ordered officers to check security of education institutes in their respective areas.  He IG also ordered to set up ‘surprise’ pickets on entry and exits points of the city. The security of schools and colleges was also beefed up after the Army Public School attack in December 2014.
