Cultural Festival: Kashmiri crafts brought to the capital
Profits from the event go directly to the crafts persons, she said
ISLAMABAD:
A week-long exhibition of Kashmiri arts and crafts continues to attract art lovers at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA). The ‘Kashmir Cultural Festival’ has been arranged by the Peace and Culture Organisation to give a platform to Kashmiri artisans and craft persons to display their products directly to craft lovers in the capital. The event includes stalls of Kashmiri dresses, carpets, wood work, paintings, gabbas, namdas, pashmina work, embroidery, copper, silver, crewel, willow, and wicker work. Profits from the event go directly to the crafts persons, she said.
