Pillion riders: Road accident leaves two dead

SUKKUR: Two persons were killed while another was injured in a road accident on the Indus Highway near Malir Stop within the limits of the C section police in Kandhkot on Sunday. Rab Nawaz, along with his wife, Miran Khatoon, and brother, Dur Muhammad, was going to Kandhkot from his village on a motorcycle. When the trio were near Malir Stop, a speeding truck hit their motorcycle. Resultantly, Nawaz and Muhammad were killed on the spot while Khatoon was injured. The truck driver fled from the scene, leaving behind the vehicle, which was impounded by the police. The bodies and the injured were shifted to Kandhkot hospital.
