End of a picnic: Two students killed in road accident

DI KHAN:


Two students of Wensam College were killed while three others were injured in a road accident in DI Khan on Sunday.


Police said five students were travelling in a car when a passenger bus hit them. As a result, two persons identified as Abdullah and Tanveer were killed, while three others Mujeebur Rehman, Muneeb and Umar suffered injuries.


Police added the injured and deceased were friends and students of Wensam College. They were travelling to DI Khan after picnicking at Chashma Barrage.


The injured were rushed  to District Headquarters and Teaching Hospital DI Khan for treatment where their condition was stated
to be stable.


The funeral prayers of Abdullah and Tanveer were offered in DI Khan after which they were buried in their hometown.


Meanwhile, a body was recovered near Chasma Right Bank Canal by the police. An official at Saddar police station said the deceased was killed as a result of firing but his identity could not be ascertained.
