Swine Flu Scare: Five patients tested negative
Out-patients themselves appeared for the tests
KARACHI:
Five people were tested for swine flu in the city but none of them could be confirmed to be carrying the virus, said health executive district officer (EDO) Dr Zafar Ijaz on Saturday. According to a surveillance report, the health EDO said the cases were reported from different laboratories where the out-patients themselves appeared for the tests. Since an alert has already been issued keeping in view the surfacing of such cases in Punjab, the patients were thoroughly checked for swine flu, said Dr Ijaz, adding that, fortunately, they were not found influenced.
