The accused were also suspected to be involved in terrorism activities, such as target killings and bomb blasts. However, none of the contentions were made before the court and the suspects were simply presented in a case registered under the Foreign Act. The Central district magistrate asked the suspects that since when they were living here and about their professions. Aziz and Ghaffar told the judge that they ran a ‘tandoor’ in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, while the rest claimed they were construction labourers. The judge sent the suspects to jail and gave directions to the investigating officer to submit a charge sheet on next hearing.
