Delayed Justice: Bank manager arrested for fraud

NAB team conducted a raid on Wednesday in Sukkur and arrested bank manager Abdul Majeed Soomro

SUKKUR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested on Wednesday a bank manager on charges of misappropriating Rs12.8 million. Two accused are on bail, while two others have been declared absconders. According to NAB sources, a NAB team conducted a raid on Wednesday in Sukkur and arrested bank manager Abdul Majeed Soomro, who has been at large since 2008 after misappropriating Rs12.8 million from Habib Bank Limited Fauji Fertilizer Company branch in Mirpur Mathelo, along with four other officials.
