Other Options: Govt to invest in alternative energy

HYDERABAD: The Alternate Energy Development Board (AEDB) has asked engineering students to submit proposals of producing energy from biogas and other alternative sources for government financing. AEDB’s chief executive Amjad Ali Aiwan spoke at a seminar at the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology on Wednesday and said that the government is also offering tax holidays for projects in the wind and solar sectors.
