PESHAWAR:

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah, asked the federal government on Tuesday to implement the decision taken in all parties’ conference regarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

He was talking to the media at the residence of Ghulam Ahmad Bilour on Tuesday where he had gone to offer condolences over the death of Bilour’s wife. He was accompanied by Member National Assembly Syed Naveed Qamar.

The senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party strongly criticized the federal government for its incompetence to carry out such an important project and not following the unanimous decision taken by all parties at the APC called by prime minister on May 28 last year.

“They are only giving us the lollypop of project announcements under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor,” said Khursheed Shah.

He went on to say that the province was being ignored in the project by the federal government, but added that all political parties were still united, except PML-N, to implement the decision of May 28.
