Bad food: Factories, bakery sealed by task force

FAISALABAD:

A task force sealed two food factories and a bakery on Tuesday for adulteration of food and having poor sanitary condition. A spokesperson of the task force said that Assistant Commissioner Bilawal Abro and his colleagues had conducted checks at various food factories and sealed Tahir Murabbah Factory, Sufiyan Murabbah Factory, and Ashrafi Foods in Shadab Colony, Jhang Road. The task force also sealed Shimla Bakery in Batala Colony for preparing sweets and other edible items in unhygienic conditions. The team also collected samples from the food factories and bakery and sent them to a laboratory for analysis. Further action against the owners of the factories and bakery will be taken once the lab reports arrive, the spokesperson said.
