Your stars today

Shelley Von Strunckel January 11, 2016

Aries | March 20 – April 19

Last week your ruler Mars moved into one of the most reflective portions of your chart. During its two-month stay there, you’ll delve into several complex and, in some cases, persistent issues. Even more, you’ll be surprised how patient you must be about the time required to get to the bottom of these.

Taurus | April 20 – May 20

You enjoy few things more than hearing about intriguing new ideas, things to do and places to go. And that’s exactly what the recent New Moon brought your way. Be sure, however, that others understand your interest is just that, and by no means do you want to get involved.

Gemini | May 21 – June 20

Many people misinterpret the period when your ruler Mercury is retrograde as a source of problems when, often, the errors it triggers lead to exciting discoveries. That’s especially the case now and over the coming days. The ideas that emerge from even aggravating mistakes will turn out to be awesome.

Cancer | June 21 – July 22

As a Cancerian and somebody ruled by the Moon, you have a powerful instinctive sense of the lunar cycle. Thus, you were probably aware that the recent New Moon marked a period of reflection and questioning. This was amazingly informative. Gradually, over the coming days, you’ll put those insights into action.

Leo | July 23 – August 22

Ordinarily, you dislike it when others make decisions on your behalf, especially if they don’t discuss their intentions beforehand. Yet now you’re relieved. This is partly because the individual in question is better equipped than you are to deal with this matter but, also, you’re seriously busy elsewhere.

Virgo | August 23 – September 22

Sometimes the unsettling influence of your ruler Mercury’s retrograde cycle is clear right away. While it began last Tuesday, the 5th, the week was so changeable, you’d have credited events themselves for the disarray you faced. Now that things are calmer, that familiar confusion will be easier to spot.

Libra | September 23 – October 22

Life would be better if arrangements could be made and forgotten. However, with frequent changes in circumstances, even the simplest of plans don’t last long. Instead of battling that state of affairs, temporarily forget about trying to organise anything, and if you must impose order of some variety, keep things flexible.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Few things are more frustrating than, having carefully organised plans, being forced by changes in circumstances to make serious alterations. Yet it would appear that you’ve no choice but to do exactly that. Explore your options. What you learn will prove so informative you’ll be relieved you’re able to rethink plans.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21

It’s clear you need to take a fresh approach to certain increasingly costly situations. However, you’ve no idea where or how to begin. That’s no surprise. The real problem is you’re short of facts. Urgent as taking action seems, you really must become better informed before you do a thing.

Capricorn | December 22 – January 19

Although the Capricorn New Moon has already taken place, you’re still thinking about the intriguing ideas it introduced. This is wise. With so much in transition, what you regarded as your best option only days ago could change, and several times. Explore everything, since you’ll learn even from what you don’t do.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 17

If it seems somebody’s rearranging elements of your life from behind the scenes, that’s no surprise. There’s a powerful planetary focus on the portion of your chart that involves exactly such complex situations. While you may not be comfortable leaving so much in the hands of others, for now, it’s best.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Having struggled to get others to agree to plans you’re confident will work, but which they questioned, you’ve finally won. So the last thing you’ll welcome are changes in the circumstances involved. But that’s exactly what’s happening. This may mean doing a serious rethink. If so, it will be worthwhile.
