Final Rites: Ghulam Bilour’s wife laid to rest

PESHAWAR: Khursheed Begum, the wife of ANP leader and former minister for Railways Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, was laid to rest in the ancestral graveyard of the Bilour family on Syed Hassan Pir Road in the city on Thursday. Her funeral prayers were offered at the historic Wazir Bagh around 11am amid tight security. She died on Wednesday after battling a prolonged illness at a private hospital in Peshawar. Thousands of party workers and leaders attended the last rites of Khursheed Begum.
