Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Shareef reiterated on Wednesday the zero-tolerance policy against terrorist organizations, directing the security forces to continue efforts until the country achieves sustainable peace.

The army chief has expressed his complete satisfaction over the progress of Operation Zarb-e-Azb and operational preparedness of Pakistan Army while presiding over Corps Commander Conference at the General Headquarters (GHQ), Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Army chief lauds efforts of security forces, LEAs

Apart from discussing matters of professional interest, participants of the conference had a detailed review of overall internal and external security situation in the country, emerging geo-strategic environment and its relevance to Pakistan.

The meeting was briefed in detail about prevailing and emerging threats, on-going operations of security forces and intelligence agencies for breaking the nexus between terrorists and their support mechanism across the country.

Lauding the phenomenal success of the forces in Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) for breaking the terror nexus across the country, General Raheel paid rich tributes to the officers and army men involved in operation for their sacrifices and success.
