An FIR was registered against the vice chancellor, registrar and assistant professor of Bacha Khan University, Charsadda for getting employed on the basis of a fake degree from Axact. The case was filed by Federal Investigation Agency Crime Circle Peshawar.
FIA Peshawar Assistant Director Shahid Ilyas told The Express Tribune FIA Crime Circle Peshawar unearthed an Axact company scandal in the city. Assistant professor Dr Fawad got his job on BPS-19 at the university on the basis of his fake degree, Ilyas said.
He added Fawad showed a PhD degree from Paramount California University, USA at the time of his employment. However, added Ilyas, an investigation unearthed that Paramount Calafornia University was one of the fake universities which Axact used to issue fake degrees.
