Quality and standard is an important performance criterion and differentiates between business strategies for products and services and the Quality Standard Awards are playing an important role in making the business community aware of international quality standards for consumer satisfaction, said Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. Speaking at the 5th Quality Standard Awards 2015, organised by the Consumer Eye Pakistan, Dar said the government was focusing on improving the investment climate in the country. “We have a resolve to make Pakistan a globally competitive and prosperous country with particular emphasis on macroeconomic stability through inclusive growth.” Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Vice President Waseem Vohra appreciated the organisers of the award and extended the FPCCI’s support for adopting the quality standards.
