Fifth death anniversary: Taseer hero of the nation, says Bilawal

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said slain Punjab governor Salman Taseer sacrificed his life for the protection of weak and marginalised people against exploitation and misuse of religious laws. On Taseer's fifth death anniversary, Bilawal said the PPP will always stand against misuse of religion-based laws and asked authorities to take up such misuses under the National Action Plan. He added that Pakistan will never forget Taseer.
