Pride of the nation: Aslam Azhar laid to rest

ISLAMABAD: Legendary broadcaster, intellectual and progressive ideologue Aslam Azhar was laid to rest at the H-11 graveyard on Wednesday. The ceremony was attended by a large gathering of family members, friends, colleagues and admirers. Interestingly, no one from the Ministry of Information or senior government official was present on the occasion. The PTV Managing Director, Mohammad Malick was among those who paid their tribute to the founder broadcaster.
