APS attack: Capital schools renamed after APS victims

The premier in his message said that the act of renaming educational institutes was to pay tributes to the martyrs

The capitals schools and colleges be named after the APS Peshawar victim.


The Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) issued a notification for renaming of 122 colleges and schools of the federal capital.  The titles of these colleges and schools have been renamed after the names of the martyrs of APS, said Secretary CADD, Khalid Hanif. Talking to APP he said, the initiative was aimed at making the memory of these children to last long and outlive the tragic incident that ended their lives by forces of hate and ignorance.


Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif gave approval to rename the 122 schools and colleges of Islamabad after the names of children killed in the Army Public School attack to commemorate sacrifice of the victims. The premier in his message said that the act of renaming educational institutes was to pay tributes to martyrs of the deadly attack.
