Transitions: Indian pilgrim dies in Gambat hospital
The deceased has been shifted to Lahore and after fulfilling legal documentation
SUKKUR:
A female pilgrim, who had come to Mirpur Mathelo to attend the annual festival at Shadhani Darbar Hayat Pitafi along with a delegation of 85 Yatris, breathed her last in Gambat hospital on Tuesday. Like every year, a delegation of 85 Hindu Yatris from India led by Sant Yudister Lal had come to Mirpur Mathelo to attend the annual festival at Shadhani Darbar in Hayat Pitafi. During the three-day festival, 65-year-old Manjo Kataria suffered a heart stroke and was rushed to Ghotki hospital. As there is no cardiac facility available in Ghotki district, the patient was referred to Gambat hospital, where she was under treatment. On Tuesday, Kataria suffered another stroke, which ultimately caused her death. The body was handed over to her husband, Kumar Kataria, and brother-in-law, Kishore Kataria. The deceased has been shifted to Lahore and after fulfilling legal documentation, the body will be sent to India across the Wagha Border.
