TIMERGARA:

Awami National Party Central Information Secretary and former senator Zahid Khan said the PTI government has failed to run the affairs of the province and address the needs of the people. He was addressing a delegation of party stalwarts in Odigram on Saturday. A large number of ANP workers were present on the occasion.

“PTI leaders are ignoring problems faced by the public and showing more interest in attending rallies,” the former senator said. The ANP delegates briefed Zahid about problems related to gas connections, metering and bills. He was informed that a large number of people were deprived of gas facilities. Residents requested the ANP leader to tackle the matter with senior SNGPL officials in Peshawar and Islamabad.

Zahid assured the delegates he is committed to ensure a sustained gas supply to the people.  He said it is unfortunate that PTI and its allies from Jamaat-e-Islami were politicking over trivial matters and are least concerned about the people’s problems.

He said the government failed to honour its commitments with the people.
