Creating Panic: Cracker blast injures four in Lyari

Following the incident, an extra contingent of law enforcers reached the site and collected evidence

KARACHI: At least four people, including two children, were injured when unidentified armed men hurled a homemade cracker bomb in Lyari on Saturday. The incident occurred near Noor Masjid, located in Aslam Brohi Goth. Four people were injured and immediately moved to Civil hospital. The injured were identified as two-year-old Maliha, daughter of Malik Imran, 10-year-old Khadija, daughter of Iftikhar, Omar Buksh, 50, and Rasool Buksh, 40. Following the incident, an extra contingent of law enforcers reached the site and collected evidence. Kalakot SHO Ayaz Khan said initial investigations had revealed that the perpetrators belonged to the Uzair Baloch gang of Lyari, and wanted to create panic in the area.
