Bilateral trade: Nepalese ambassador visits MCCI

The ambassador urged the MCCI president to promote delegation of businessmen to visit Nepal and explore opportunities

MULTAN: The Nepalese Ambassador on Thursday stressed the need for improving Pak-Nepal economic relations and enumerated well-tailored measures to boost existing trade figures. Ambassador, Bharat Raj Paudyal, was speaking at the Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). He said that Nepal is a $22-billion economy and greatly values its relations with Pakistan. He added that Nepal is ready to make special bilateral trading arrangements with Pakistan as Nepalese businessmen feel quite comfortable while dealing with their Pakistani counterparts. He assured members of Pakistan business community would be given free visa and passport facilities on their arrival in Nepal. The ambassador urged the MCCI president to promote delegation of businessmen to visit Nepal and explore business opportunities.
