APS Tragedy: ‘Terrorism has significantly reduced’

ISLAMABAD: The State Minister for Capital Administration and Development Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Wednesday said innocent children sacrificed their lives in APS tragedy and gave courage to the nation to defeat terrorism in the country. Talking to the media outside the Parliament House, he said government equally shared the grief of victim families of Army Public School (APS) tragedy. The minister said terrorism was the biggest challenge for current PML-N government when it came into power but Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and state institution made commitment to control this evil. He said terrorism activities have been controlled significantly across the country due to the successful military operation, Zarb-e-Azb in tribal areas.
