KARACHI:
Karachi Corps Commander and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) executive board president Lt General Naveed Mukhtar performed the ground breaking of DHA Oasis project, during a visit to the DHA City Karachi on Friday.
The event marked the initiation of the development of the farm houses being built in the DHA City, said a DHA official. It was announced that the project is set to be completed in 30 months.
DHA administrator Brigadier Zubair Ahmed apprised Lt Gen Mukhtar about the development strategy of DHA City Karachi (DCK) and the various initiatives that have been taken by DHA to develop DCK.
The Corps Commander later drove through various sectors of DHA City, where infrastructure and sector development work was in progress.
He appreciated the enthusiasm and commitment of the DCK team who were engaged the in project’s development.
