Parliamentarians, on a calling attention notice, said that the proposed changes in zoning regulations were causing grave concern among the people.
Adviser to Prime Minister Nawabzada Ghazanfar Ali Gill, however, informed the house that the cabinet committee in the light of a decision by Supreme Court was working on the proposed changes.
He added, “The cabinet was informed that encroachment and illegal construction was also taking place in Zone-III and a cabinet committee comprising three ministers was constituted to take some decision for changes in regulations for the area. Gill denied the influence of political personalities in the approval of the decision.
