Imposing Will: Action sought against husband

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Monday sought comments from the Liaquatabad SHO on a petition filed by a woman seeking registration of a case against four people, including her husband and her mother, for forcing her into prostitution. Kiran Bibi submitted that her mother Shamim Bibi and husband Faisal had beaten her up and threatened to kill her for refusing sex work. She said she had requested the SHO to take action against them but he had done nothing in this regard. She requested the court to direct the officer to register a case against her husband and her mother.
