Pak-US partnership: Women participation in workforce urged

Hale applauded women of the US Pakistan Women’s Council for helping to create an enabling environment for women

The US-Pakistan Women’s Council is helping many women participate in the progress of the country’s economy, said the American Ambassador to Pakistan David Hale.


“Coming from diverse backgrounds across Pakistan, together they form a powerful instrument for creating opportunities for greater women participation in the Pakistani economy,” he said in remarks at  a reception by Henna Babar Ali of Packages Limited and the Council to celebrate the organisation’s third anniversary.


Hale applauded women of the US Pakistan Women’s Council for helping to create an enabling environment for women in the Pakistani economy, building bridges from schools to jobs, and helping women entrepreneurs develop and grow their businesses.
