Balochistan political landscape: ANP leader doesn’t foresee any change
Achakzai added that his party would sit on the opposition benches, if the chief executive was replaced
QUETTA:
The president of the Balochistan chapter of Awami National Party, Asghar Khan Achakzai, has ruled out any change in the provincial political set-up. “Had there been any change in the works, CM Malik Baloch would have stepped down weeks ago to pave way for his successor,” he said. He was asked about reports claiming that a PML-N nominee would replace CM Baloch before December 5 as was agreed in the 2013 Murree deal. However, Achakzai added that his party would sit on the opposition benches, if the chief executive was replaced.
