According to a statement by the provincial counter terrorism department, the accused Shah Hussain was arrested on April 8, while accomplice Aziz Jamal alias Ma’az, who initially escaped, was later apprehended.
CTD officials had registered a case against both under a terrorism act.
They were presented in the ATC, and sentenced to 14 years in prison.
Both the convicted were shifted to jail, added the statement.
