Casualties: Three injured in roof collapse
A large number of houses were either destroyed or damaged and many people have been rendered homeless

At least three people were wounded when the roof of a house collapsed in Kalam, Swat on Wednesday. An insider familiar with the matter told The Express Tribune, Ali, the owner of the house, his wife and eight-year-old daughter Marzia Bibi were at home when the incident occurred. “All three of them were wounded,” he said. According to the police, the house was damaged in the October 26 earthquake which ripped through various parts of Afghanistan and Pakistan. “The house consisted of four rooms,” he said. The injured were shifted to a hospital in Mingora. Over 200 people lost their lives in the temblor. A large number of houses were either destroyed or damaged and many people have been rendered homeless.
