The appointment of district organisers and deputy organisers was discussed at the meeting. While addressing the gathering, chief guest and provincial deputy organiser Dr Haider Ali stated all efforts were being made to ensure mistakes of the past were not repeated.
“PTI is evolving and we will work hard to make the party an institution. We should work to end all intra-party rivalries within the Battagram chapter of PTI,” he said, adding harmony was in the best interest of the party’s future. The provincial organisers will visit Haripur on Thursday (today) whereas on December 9, they plan to visit Abbottabad and appoint their organisers and deputy organisers.
Development projects
PTI workers in PK-11, Peshawar-XI lauded the constituency’s MPA Ashtiaq Urmar for launching several development projects, including roads and educational institutions.
Addressing a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday, Town-4 General Secretary Niazullah Barki said Urmar has proved to be a leader for his people, and has been working day and night for the development of the area. “A total of 16 roads were constructed in various areas of the constituency. Schools and colleges for girls and boys were also established,” he said. According to Barki, people have developed trust in PTI, terming it the reason why people were joining the party.
Barki also said some elements were involved in propaganda against Urmar. However, he demanded PTI Chairperson Imran Khan announce an award for Urmar to honour his untiring efforts in the forests, environment and wildlife departments.
