Militants’ families ask for final visitation

Four militants involved in the Army Public School attack in December last year, were hanged on Wednesday in Kohat Jail

JAMRUD: The Khyber Agency political administration has informed the families of two militants they can hold a last meeting with them.

Sabil alias Yahya and Mujeebur Rehman were awarded the death penalty by military courts over their involvement in Army Public School attack on December 16, 2014.

Four APS militants hanged in Kohat

The Kohat superintendent prisons said the families were informed they had final visitation rights before their execution.

An official of the political administration verified the news and said the superintendent sent a letter to the administration to convene families of both the sentenced militants for a last meeting.

Further, four militants involved in the Army Public School attack in December last year, were hanged on Wednesday in Kohat Jail.

The hanging comes two days after Army chief General Raheel Sharif signed black warrants of Maulvi Abdus Salam, Hazrat Ali, Mujeebur Rehman and Sabeel alias Yahya nearly a year after the horrific massacre.
