KARACHI: The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) took serious notice of the developing situation regarding the election of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and again demanded the postponement of the election. PMA Centre secretary-general Dr Mirza Ali Azhar said that PMA has already pointed out that the date of the elections is coinciding with the LG elections in southern Punjab and a greater part of the Sindh, including Karachi. This election is a historic moment for PMDC, said Azhar urging the authorities to make the process clean and transparent.  He said that the interim committee, responsible for organising the elections, has already wasted a considerable time.
