KARACHI: Speakers at a protest demonstration condemned the attack on the DSNG of a news channel and manhandling of media persons by the activists of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI). Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) organised the protest on call of Pakistan Federation of Union of Journalists (PFUJ). KUJ President GM Jamali, General Secretary Wajid Raza Isfahani, Vice President Zaheer Ahmed Khan, Joint Secretary Shahid Ghazali, and senior journalists Ayub Jan Sarhandi, Javed Chaudhry, Saeed Jan Baloch spoke on the occasion. They condemned the attacks on newsmen and cameramen by PTI and JI activists on the arrival of PTI chief Imran Khan and JI Ameer Sirajul Haq. They said that KUJ Vice President Zaheer Ahmed Khan was also humiliated by the PTI and JI activists.
