Crackdown: Two brothers killed in Pasni raid

They are being interrogated for further information

At least three people, including two brothers, were killed during a raid in the Kulanch area of Pasni on Tuesday.


Assistant Commissioner (AC) Mansoor Gichki, while talking to The Express Tribune confirmed that security forces had raided a house in Belar area of Kulanch.

“Three people were killed during the operation,” the AC said, adding that two of them are brothers and residents of Pasni.

The deceased were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy and identified as Majeed, his Brother Subhan and Hammal Ghuram.

Meanwhile, three militants were arrested and two others injured during a search operation in the Newano area of Buleida in Kech District.

According to Frontier Corps Balochistan spokesman, FC was carrying out a search operation when “three militants were arrested and two others sustained injuries during an exchange of fire”. He added that FC recovered some arms from their custody, including 5 SMGs, one Chinese LMG or sniper rifle. FC spokesman revealed that the militants were involved in attacks on security forces, convoys of FWO and targeted killing of citizens. They are being interrogated for further information, he concluded.
