PESHAWAR: Social enterprise Peshawar 2.0 launched its start-up incubation and acceleration programme, Revolt, on Saturday. The initiative is aimed at fostering an organic environment for start-ups. The project will be a three-month exercise where students and budding entrepreneurs will get an opportunity to materialise their ideas. Speaking on the occasion, Peshawar 2.0 Co-founder Muhammad Uzair said the programme seeks to challenge the existing definition of business incubation. “Start-ups do not need free space or internet connects,” he said. “They need mentors who entrepreneurs can look up to.” Enterprise CEO Faisal Khan told participants local talent, ideas and investors will come together under the initiative to address challenges. The programme consists of 30 investors and has been put together with support from the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industries, K-P IT Board and the World Bank.
