RAWALPINDI:

The continuous complaints regarding major mistakes in marking of papers and totalling of numbers has forced the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi to appoint senior teachers for re-checking of papers.

The board has also increased the compensation for teachers undertaking the re-checking. The re-checking and marking of papers is being conducted at Dennys Higher Secondary School, Islamia Higher Secondary School No 1, Madrassah Milia Islamia, Shimla Girls High School and Morgah Boys High School.

Besides, it was learnt that papers of BISE Faisalabad are also being checked at the Rawalpindi board office due to which teachers felt over burdened and marked papers in haste.
