RAWALPINDI: The Pirwadhai police on Monday arrested seven suspected gamblers and three outlaws and seized stake money and weapons from their possession. In the first incident, the police raided a gambling den and arrested Abdul Hameed, Arif, Nazir, Naseem, Gulzar, Altaf and Sheraz Ahmed along with Rs7,400 cash, five mobile phones and relevant equipment. Meanwhile, the same police seized a Kalashankof with 15 bullets from Asghar, a 30-bore pistol with 10 bullets from Wajid, a 30-bore pistol with five bullets from Tahir Nazir , a 30-bore pistol with four bullets from Mehtab and a 30-bore pistol with two bullets from Jamil. The police registered separate cases against them and an investigation is under way.
