PESHAWAR:

Members of recently-formed Pakistan Association for Disabled Rights Protection (PADRP) have urged people with disabilities from across the country to join hands with them to secure their rights.

Addressing a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday, association members told journalists, PADRP is not restricted to upholding the rights of a particular category of people.

According to association members, the organisation was established to fill the void left by the government in addressing problems faced by people with disabilities.

Meanwhile, Tanzeem-e-Asatiza Pakistan (TAP) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chapter has announced it will be distributing books and uniforms among 500 students of government schools on Thursday.
