The leaders praised Azam Hoti’s political career

PESHAWAR: Condolences continue to pour in for the fourth consecutive day, honouring the late Senator Azam Khan Hoti, as politicians visit Hoti House in Mardan. Azam was the father of former K-P chief minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti. According to a press release issued in Peshawar on Saturday, Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan, Inspector General Police Nasir Khan Durrani, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbassi, former chief justice of Peshawar High Court and ex caretaker chief minister Justice (retd) Tariq Pervez offered their condolences. Also present were Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami chief Maulana Samiul Haq, Jamaat-e-Islami K-P Ameer Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan and provincial minister Inayatullah Khan. The leaders praised Azam Hoti’s political career and recalled his services for the nation. Former Afghan president Hamid Karzai called Amir Haider to offer his condolences as well.
