This or that?: Amal Clooney sports bohemian chic

She’s the image of sophistication, both in the courtroom and on husband George Clooney’s arm for Hollywood’s most prestigious occasions. Lately, Amal Clooney has been taking fashion-forward steps by adorning daring bohemian outfits in New York, and it has somewhat paid off with one of her looks hitting bull’s eye.

Hair and make-up

Elegantly untied, the human-rights attorney wore her dark locks down and kept her make-up almost too understated. Looking slightly gaunt and tired, the luminary should’ve polished her complexion with some luminous base and kajal, but she went minimal with a modest berry lip.

Outfit

The 37-year-old activist sported a pair of high-waisted and colourful bell bottoms, as she flashed a hint of her midriff in a black shaggy-furry crop top. The zigzag pattern of the yellow pants was leaning towards tacky of the bohemian fashion spectrum and the addition of fur was a definite style-fail.

Accessories

Striking a charming pose, Amal completed her attire by accessorising with a thick and long black winter coat, carrying a simple box clutch and her pink-encased cell phone for the outing.

Embodying a bohemian flare, the Lebanese-born lawyer left her voluminous locks out in large curls. Adding a dash of foundation make-up, Amal rocked a flawlessly peachy complexion, sporting a bold scarlet pout, neat eyeliner and flushed cheeks.

Mrs Clooney was stylish as ever in a retro-inspired leopard print jacket from Giambattista Valli’s Pre-Fall 2015 collection, featuring cream trim detail and a sheepskin collar. The light-blue, extreme-flare jeans by Free People tickled our fancy in particular. Now, that’s bohemian fashion done right.

Accessories

Keeping up her status as one of Hollywood’s leading ladies, the modish barrister teamed her chic ensemble with a gold and black box-style clutch, diamond drop earrings and plenty of dainty rings.
