KARACHI:

The suspect who made the dramatic revelations about the Baldia factory fire has gone missing since the unearthing of the joint investigation team's report that implicated the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in the tragedy.

Rizwan Qureshi was to appear before a district and sessions court on Tuesday for the hearing of six cases for targeted killing and possessing illicit weapons. However, he remained absent.

Following his repeated non-appearance, Justice Tariq Mehmood Khoso reissued non-bailable warrants of arrest for the suspect. Qureshi's two guarantors said they could not find him and pleaded Justice Khoso allow them some time to trace his whereabouts, which was approved. The next hearing is scheduled for April 11.
