Three minor brothers were killed, while PTI MNA Dawar Khan Kundi was injured in two separate accidents in DI Khan on Sunday.
Police said a passenger bus heading from Karachi to Swat hit a motorcycle near Yarrak Bridge, killing the three brothers riding it on the spot. The deceased were Fahim, 7, Nadeem, 8, and Waqas, 12. The three of them were heading to Sadra Sharif from Yarrak when the accident took place.
After the accident, locals blocked the DI Khan-Bannu Road for hours and placed the bodies there.
They later dispersed, while police registered a case. Meanwhile, PTI MNA Dawar Khan Kundi and his driver were injured in an accident near Gomel University. Kundi’s car collided with a tractor filled with sugarcane, a police official said.
The injured were taken to the DI Khan District Headquarters and Teaching Hospital. Both were said to be out of danger.
