Voicing concerns: ASWJ protests leaders' killings
The participants shouted slogans against the government for its 'failure to maintain the law and order situation'.
KARACHI:
Workers and supporters of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) held a demonstration on Friday to protest what the party leadership termed as the 'targeted killings of its office-bearers and workers by militant outfits'. Hundreds of ASWJ activists, led by the party's chief patron, Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi, and central president, Allama Farooqui, gathered at Nagan Chowrangi after Friday prayers. The participants shouted slogans against the government for its 'failure to maintain the law and order situation'.
