The Sindh High Court (SHC) called on Monday the notification regarding the formation of a judicial commission by the government to investigate alleged extrajudicial killings of Muttahida Qaumi Movement's workers.
A division bench, headed by Justice Ahmed Ali M Sheikh, gave two weeks to the law officer to furnish such a notification in the court. The bench was hearing a petition filed by Syed Mateen Hussain, the maternal uncle of the deceased MQM activist, Syed Faraz Alam, who had sought a judicial inquiry into the killing.
