Solving crime: Suspects take lie detector test

Police said three suspects, Haider, Tooba and Farooq, were being investigated.

LAHORE: Two suspects in the murder of an aspiring model on Thursday took a polygraph test as part of the ongoing investigation. Also on Thursday, the investigation in-charge and investigation officer were suspended for delay in completion of investigation. Police said mobile phone records of the suspects, Tooba and Farooq, had been obtained.

They said the victim, Abeera, had attended a fashion show in Faisalabad on January 10 and returned to Tooba’s house in Lahore on January 11.

Police said three suspects, Haider, Tooba and Farooq, were being investigated.


They said Haider was a relative of the hostel manager where Abeera lived. They said the man acted as a middleman and introduced girls living at the hostel to men like Farooq.
