Family dispute: Three of a family axed to death

Muhammad Nawaz accused his daughter Mamtaz Bibi’s ex-husband, Abdul Karim, of the murders, said the police official.

Three members of a family were axed to death in Sikandar village of Parowa tehsil, DI Khan city on Saturday morning, a police official told The Express Tribune.


“The deceased were identified as 55-year-old Pathano Bibi, her daughter 19-year-old Mamtaz Bibi and son 25-year-old Ajaz.” Pathano Bibi’s husband Muhammad Nawaz lodged a case saying he had gone out for some work in the morning and returned home to find his family members’ blood-stained bodies on the ground.


Muhammad Nawaz accused his daughter Mamtaz Bibi’s ex-husband, Abdul Karim, of the murders, said the police official. Abdul Karim had divorced Mamtaz Bibi after which she was living at her father’s house.


Police reached the site after the incident and took the bodies and murder weapon in custody.
