Federal directives: Enhanced security for foreign engineers

PESHAWAR: Following directions issued by the federal government, the provincial government has enhanced security for foreign engineers working on different projects across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P). Officials privy to the matter said keeping view of the current law and order situation in the province, the federal government directed the K-P government to enhance security measures for foreign engineers. “There are a number of Chinese engineers working on different projects across K-P,” said one official, requesting anonymity as he was not authorised to talk to the media.
