Veena is often misunderstood: 'Bigg Boss 4' participant

MUMBAI: Veena Malik may have been swooning over him in reality show ‘Bigg Boss 4’, but Indian model Hrishant Goswami says he had no intention to get into a relationship with her.

“I had made my stance very clear about this in the Bigg Boss house. I was not looking for a relationship at all. I have a career to focus on,” Hrishant told IANS on phone from Mumbai.

Speaking about Veena, Hrishant said that she was often misunderstood and was a nice girl. “I think it was nice that she was quite vocal about whatever she felt. She was honest and very sweet and I reciprocated that… but I was never in the mindframe of getting into a relationship, and especially with her,” said Hrishant.

Hrishant was evicted out of the show on Friday.

I agree with Mr. R. Rahim. Veena has her own style. We should accept the fact that she is representing herself only, and not Pakistan. If she’s bold, that’s her. Our problem is that, we find it very easy to look into the negativities of others and find it hard to encourage our talented people. Veena has done excellent work for Miss Dunya program and she’s a very talented actor.

Whatever her personal life is, we have no right to talk about it. All the best Veena! Recommend

It is indeed mind blogging how @pakistani @Realist @rizvi @Hardesh @Khuram Khan @Sheikh Sarmad @ik are dissing Veena Malik. We still live in a culture that maybe Veena Malik should have gotten the permission of the men folk to appear in Big Boss4?
Why does Veena Malik or anyone else have to get the approval of people when she is an artist on a reality show ! C’mon fellas we are in a new era, women no matter what profession do not need their male counterparts blessing to further their careers!
Since coming on Big Boss4, Veena has managed to catapult her career which is the best marketing strategy in recent Lollywood memory. She is now a household name in India; like or dislike her Pamela Anderson was so impressed by Veena she is in the process of producing a Hollywood television series of her and Veena called East meets West & is presently shopping for the big cable players. Pamela know how the chauvinistic male either in Asia or the Americas are harsh with their judgment and demand a different standards from women.
Donald Trump one the most successful men in New York on CNBC mentioned that he might have Veena Malik be the brand ambassador for the Trump name, he had watched a few episodes of Big Boss4 on his private plane and was so impressed by Venna Malik that her charm and honesty against all odds had impressed him.
I’m sure if Venna had succumbed to the pressures of how to behave and act by listening to her many critics she would not be getting the spotlight she richly deserves Recommend

Veena is participating in the show as an individual. Her acts and omissions are not Pakistan’s acts or omissions. This applies to all the contestants. Hrishant, Ashmit and Sara too to not represent India or any part of India at the show.

This glamuor world is actually very ruthless. Down under it is all very filthy and most of these models, actor and actresses might have been through it. Also, it is a tiny minority that gets any recognition. Most of them disappear without any trace.

Veena was damped by her boyfriend(s) and is probably struggling with her career. She may doing all this to get attention which may result into a break through. A Bolliwood will probably be a dream come true for her. And for her this may be her last big chance in her life.Recommend

Pretty soon there will be a Big Brother copy in Pakistan too. Even in India the show has been cautioned for its display of indecency, and yet people in Pakistan support the amorous behaviour of our lass. This is BIG BOSS and a participant needs to do anything to survive in their. When did you all (Pakistanis) become such moral monitors I see this STRICT CODE only applied to your female population…it stinks for DOUBLE STANDARDS !!!
It was so cool to see Begum Ali a drag queen form a Muslim country who can carry the popularity of his country over the border!
We in India do not have a powerful figure to entertain us that can live in two worlds; you all should be MOSTLY GRATEFUL to Veena & Ali for being the ambassadors of good will to promote the exchange of entertainment to the sub-continent!
We in India produce material that does not really hit the decency level & so will you across the border but ARTISTIC FREEDOM has no censors..it flow of the creative minds to please & displease…I know it takes growing pains the Pakistani women are coming out of their shell to be talented….creative….brilliant contributors to your society & Madar-e-Millat* Fatima Jinnah would be ever so proud of these women. It is indeed quite mind churning how @Anonymous & others in that class of total ignorance expect Venna expect her to behave she is an actress and is on a reality show that has India glued to their television sets has she shocked the Pakistani television audience- betcha she has proven that the Pakistani television public is childish..immature and squirm at the idea of seeing a beautiful woman act her way into the hearts of the Indian television audience. BB4 has created a platform for Venna Malik the Indian television audience is impressed that there are real woman in the Pakistani people that can hold their own.

Firstly, I highly doubt that Veena Malik went for the Big Boss show as an abassador for Pakistan. However. it IS true that she is still muslim AND a pakistani, so she could have dressed modestly and acted a bit more reserved since people from all over the world will see her as a sample of a typical pakistani women (which she is not). We must remember though there will always be a difference between some one working as an actress or model, and a typical woman who works off screen..
Everyone has their own opinions and i respect that, but personally, even though there are flaws in her actions i do not think we have the right to comment on her.
It is her life and her behavior, and she knows perfectly well the consequences and the limits.
So please guys dont be all judgemental, calling her names OR being over affectionate with the words for her either.
But veena if you read this. Please try to be a bit more like, well like you were in pakistan.

Agree or disagree she is carving a new identify for the Pakistani woman who for long has been depicted as a follower of the alpha-know it all Pakistani male.
There has been a whole array of criticism from men and women example being:-

It is not that i do not support a strong woman. I respect women of all kinds as long as they know how to leave their mark on earth and be able to keep their heads high.
However, if you notice, in all the big boss episodes, Veena has been the one caring for the boy and being affectionate and gentle. Is that not the typical Pakistani woman’s image? The caring loving housewife type who never talks back to a man and is always there to make HIM feel good? So i really dont think this shows “strength”.
    @ Nilofer Khaan and Asif.
I truly appreciate you guys having minds broad enough to accept a not so typical regular woman and then respect her.
Howvever, as Asif said, “sexy siren” is not exactly the symbol of a woman’s strength. Veena is beautiful guys, admit that. Honestly, i found her the prettiest girl on show. But, shes marred that beauty with her attitude.
I hate to say this, but the length of your skirt does not determine the nobility or richness of your nature and your personality. Why are we so extremist? cant we just be in the middle rather than hating either hijabed women or women in skirts?
Watch Big Boss and OBSERVE NONE OF THE OTHER FEMALE CANDIDATES ARE SO OBSESSED WITH THEIR DRESSING OR WITH A PARTICULAR GUY. and thats just what im pointing at. she makes pakistani women look desperate. wait. more like she gave indians something to laugh about! you know how heavy the hate between india and pak is! besides some hindu extremist group didnt even want her there!
Women like benazir, virginia wolf, michelle obama and angelina jolie. Oh yes. Those were strong women. and i respect them with my heart (politics aside. im no political person:))
All in all, i have no personal hate for Veena, she has been one of and posisbly my only favorite female Pakistani actress!
The girl has beauty and she has style. And i must praise her bravery and courage that made her last for so long in the big boss house. And we must not ignore that she has been really sweet and courteous even when not just the big boss family but even salman khan himself has often joked about her relationship with boys
Though, a little less attention towards asmet or rishant and a little more generalized friendships would have been better and less laughed at :)
    peace out.
P.S again big boss is just a reality show guys, the point is to make it attractive and yeah there is little “attraction” without veena. Lets just not get soo personal and angry about it.
What Veena does is Veena’s will and well we cant change it can we.Recommend
