MUMBAI: Post the success of Hera Pheri and its sequel Phir Hera Pheri, the makers are set to start Hera Pheri 3 with Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in the lead. The former says the first movie brought forth a new uplifting comedy for Bollywood when it released in 2000.
“I feel Hera Pheri was a refreshing new comedy for Indian cinema. Then Neeraj (Vora) made Hera Pheri 2, which was even more fun,” Abhishek said during the official announcement of Hera Pheri 3. The actor considers it a “matter of huge pride” to be part of the movie.
Hera Pheri 3 will also feature Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal, apart from Dostana stars Abhishek and John. The film will be produced by Firoz Nadiadwala. The story of the third instalment will take off from where the second part ended, says director Neeraj Vora.
“Whether we get to see the original Raju in the film or not, I can’t reveal. The second part starts when they are rich. Now the third part will start with where we left the second movie,” he stated. Veteran actor Paresh says his character Baburao in the film is a very well-written character.
“The character of Baburao was written so well. I believe that in India, there is no actor who can rise above the material. The director and writers of this film have given me a lot. It’s fun to have commercial success along with fun while working with the character. I am thankful to the writer and producer of this film,” he said.

Is this a marketing ploy of announcing Superstar Akshay Kumar's name later on to the cast of Hera Pheri 3? I hope it is . Then it is good marketing strategy.But if it is not then it is a great mistake of not taking Akki in Hera pheri 3.An open appeal to Firoz Nadiadwala...When you are a business man then even if you have differences you should reconcile with certain people to do business and profits.This movie will be a hit because of John, Sunil and Paresh. But it will be an all time blockbuster if Superstar Akshay Kumar is there along with John, Sunil and Paresh. If you want to keep Abhishekh, keep him but do not make the movie with out Akki. ...So time has not run out pull up your socks and do the movie with Akki, John, Sunil and Paresh...And if necessary take Abhishekh along too.....This movie has the making of an all time blockbuster if the first four are in it.Akki -Sunil and Akki -John make great pairing and Paresh adds the great hoopla..., with good songs, action , a good script...there is not stopping this movie from being an all time blockbuster....Change your decisions, Firoz...roll out the big bucks...work a truce with Akki and it will greatly benefit you.....we are still waiting for Hera Pheri 3 with Akki, John, Sunil and Paresh.....Please...Please...At least I assure you that on I will book half the theater in my area, the first day /first show for this movie for family and friends..
I am sure, Superstar Akshay Kuimar is part of the movie. If I am right, he will make a grand entry at Interval, and rock the film through the second half. Akki and John, Akki and Sunil, Akki and Paresh...Akshay's pairing with all the three is superb and historic.The makers are aware of this and are going to announce his name later on...to build the tempo they have omitted his name. But very soon they will announce his name..What a marketing ploy Firoz Nakdiadwala.You have an all time blockbuster on hand....Historic blockbuster.....Mark my words
